Happy Winter Solstice, everyone!

P.S. If it's the first day of winter, where's my snow?!?

where's my snow?!?

Today, it's falling at elevations above 6000 feet here in Arizona... A long way from me, too.

Apparently zargon is hoarding it. At least you get to see it in the distance. Ohio had all kinds of snow while we were in Florida but as soon as we got back it warmed up.

I hear Michigan has it, but I bet as soon as I go up there after Christmas, it'll warm up too!

It's actually here with me :o I thought it was just more frost, but it was uh actually coming down from the sky. I wasn't sure if I was really awake when I saw it though, but the news confirmed it :D

Re: again, in logged in

Then I shan't have to come 'round and take it from you. It seems it's hiding out in The Netherlands.

We have some, but you need to climb a few mountains to get it.
I just hope it stays there.
Heh, speaking of Ohio...(which we were, in the staff lounge, for some reason yesterday)we were trying to figure out exactly where Ohio sits geographically. One of my coworkers said "Ohio? where is Ohio?" My mind map failed me utterly, beyond, somewhere in the US midwest...the place with the snow 'Bit's looking for, LOL.

Well, you should definately come here to get it because we don't have no mountains, so no climbing involved! LOL I do have pics of the ducks walking around on the canal. Jeroen looked out the window and said ' how are the ducks walking on water???' so we ran out to see and it was frozen water (but still clear because that was before the white stuff fell on it). TOday I could have got pics of kids walking on the canal, but didn't because I was too worried I was going to have to rush out and save them when the ice broke...Though Jeroen said it was -5C this morning, so maybe it was frozen enough. I know I wouldn't have wanted to chance it!

What little snow we had here in NYC probably finished melting/getting washed away today. Hope your turn comes next! Um, for the snow, not the washing away.
